Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Geodetic Engineer to join our team in Laoag Ilocos Nort. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling in-house surveying works, assisting the site operations team, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our land development activities. This role involves coordinating with the technical team to address any geodetic-related issues that arise during the project.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-house surveying works, including but not limited to topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
  • Assist the site operations team in executing surveying tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in land development projects.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed surveying reports, maps, and drawings.
  • Utilize surveying instruments and software to collect, process, and analyze geodetic data.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to resolve geodetic-related issues that arise during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols in all surveying activities.
  • Verify and validate survey results and data for accuracy and reliability.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, plans, and documentation related to geodetic engineering.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on geodetic matters.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in geodetic engineering and surveying technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Geodetic Engineer.
  • Proven experience in conducting various types of surveys.
  • Proficiency in using surveying instruments (e.g., total stations, Automatic level instruments) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with land development processes and regulations.
  • Willing to work from Mondays to Saturday

Work Environment:

  • Based in Laoag Ilocos Norte with occasional travel to other project sites as needed.
  • Fieldwork and office work as required.
