Project Manager (Socialized Housing)
Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from the initial conception through to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure in socialized housing and land development. Duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight and Direction:
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review project plans in-depth to agree on the program, costs, and contract awards.
  • Monitor all onsite and offsite constructions to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Team Coordination:
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Manage a team of project engineers.
  • Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory.
  • Compliance and Performance:
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections on all projects (weekly or monthly, as required).
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Progress and Reporting:
  • Review work progress on a daily basis.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
  • Problem Solving and Risk Management:
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Contract Management and Legal Compliance:
  • Support the Contracts Manager with negotiating terms of agreements, drafting contracts, and obtaining permits and licenses.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction and real estate industry, with a focus on socialized housing and land development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Ability to manage a team and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Relevant degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
